Happy Halloween! We hope it's a scary one! Speaking of scary, apparently CLOWNS are the scariest things of all, since we find ourselves surrounded by the smell of greasepaint once again! We start off with "Funland" from 1987 and follow that up with "Out of the Dark" from 1988. Funland is more of a wacky comedy with dark moments provided by mascot "Bruce Burger" played by Squiggy himself, David L. Lander. It's genuinely funny but has moments of off-color humor that was common back in the 80s. Out of the Dark is more of a traditional thriller, with a "who-done-it" structure and plenty of characters to throw the viewer off the scent. It's good, and Bobo the clown succeeds at being REALLY creepy. Send us an email to let us know what scares YOU! You can email us at flickersfrom@yahoo.com or flickersfrom@gmail.com.
